The LakeShore - The LakeFront Condominiums is a new mixed-use residential condominium development by Concord Adex coming soon to the corner of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Bathurst Street in Toronto, Ontario. It is the first of two proposed towers of 40 and 44 storeys with 851 dwelling units connected to the seven storey commercial building anchored by the Loblaws flagship supermarket. The LakeShore & The LakeFront Condos is being developed by Concord Adex who is "the largest residential developer in Canada specializing in urban communities". It's parent company is Concord Pacific Developments Inc. formed in 1987 and "is a leading developer of urban, master-planned residential neighbourhoods that are purposefully designed to enhance the lifestyles of its residents". Their first development is the 200 acre Concord Pacific Place in Vancouver which is a residential and commercial development and is the largest development currently being built in North America on the former Expo Lands along a strip of Vancouver's downtown waterfront. Once complete it will have approximately 9 million square feet of residential use space.
In 1997, Concord Adex was formed to oversee the development of Concord CityPlace in downtown Toronto on 47 acres which is the largest master-planned community in Toronto and once complete will have 5.4 million square feet of commercial and residential use space consisting of 29 towers and townhouses for over 15,000 people. In 2006 it was the 45 acre Concord Park Place in North York which will have over 5,000 homes and is the second largest master-planned community in Toronto.
